Early exposure to art is a necessary activity to the growth of young minds. Through art classes, kids develop skills such as focus, problem solving, collaboration and dedication which will benefit them greatly later in life. At Art Fun Studio, we believe art is one of the most important means of self-expression and confidence building for children because it combines imagination, spontaneity, playfulness and experimentation.

Our Kids art classes offerings:

Introduction to Art Making:  In this exciting class kids will explore myriad of techniques in painting: color, application, mixing, texture, composition and working with personal subject matter. They learn drawing techniques and the endless possibilities of mixed-media, paints, pastels, collage. Children create different projects, including one-of-a kind 3-D projects, mosaic, paintings. They learn the history of inspiring creative technique, creating projects by using metals, buttons, seashells, We also do jewelry and sculpture projects. This is for children and parents who want to push kids creativity beyond very limited possibilities than regular school program allows. Suitable for 4-10 years old kids.

Art Skills: This is for children that are showing an interest in art and need a hand to learn the ‘how to’ so that they can take their drawing and painting to the next level. Suitable for 9-15 years old.

Mommy and Me: And of course, we welcome young children, ages 2-3, who will have an opportunity to work with many materials (paper, water color, shells, wood and clay) and explore diverse techniques (cutting, pasting, drawing, painting and building).

General classes at Art Fun Studio are scheduled and grouped according to age. Within each age group, we offer different levels of classes: beginners, intermediates and advanced. If you are unsure about committing to a regularly scheduled class, you can enroll for a one-time trial class for only $25!

We like to work closely with parents and will allow your or designated caregivers to attend classes and help you to find a class time to suit your young artist’s schedule. Keep in mind, the age group and time slots below are very flexible. For children who attend PS104, we offer a pick-up service where our dedicated staff will pick your child up from school and walk with them to the Art Fun Studio for a great afternoon of class.
