What a fantastic day of creativity and camaraderie we had recently with the incredible team at LensCrafters’ corporate office in Manhattan! Art Fun Studio was thrilled to bring our unique blend of artistic expression and team-building fun to their vibrant workspace.
The journey to this special event began when LensCrafters reached out to us with a fantastic challenge: to create a custom painting design that would resonate with their brand – eyewear – and their prestigious Manhattan location. They envisioned a simple yet recognizable image that their team could recreate within a 1.5 to 2-hour timeframe. After several exciting brainstorming sessions, we landed on the perfect concept: a beautiful sunset with a pair of stylish glasses resting on a table, reflecting the iconic Manhattan skyline throughout their lenses, with an elegant reflection underneath. The LensCrafters team enthusiastically approved the design, and we knew we had a winner!

Preparing for the event was a creative process in itself. We meticulously gathered all the necessary supplies, carefully selecting and even custom-mixing paints to ensure every shade was perfect for capturing the Manhattan sunset.
On the day of the event, we arrived at their magnificent headquarters on Fifth Avenue – a truly prestigious address! The room was fantastic, and we efficiently connected our equipment to two huge screens, ensuring everyone had a clear view of our artist’s demonstrations.
As the session began, the energy in the room was palpable. I admit, I was a little nervous about how everyone would tackle such a seemingly complicated design in just two hours, but my worries quickly vanished. The LensCrafters team embraced their inner artists with incredible enthusiasm! We guided them through the painting experience, and it was clear they loved the unique concept. Everyone painted diligently, following instructions, yet many also felt empowered to experiment with their own creative touches. It was more than just painting; it was about connecting, laughing, and discovering hidden talents. We saw colleagues encouraging one another, sharing tips, and proudly showcasing their finished art.

It was truly inspiring to see every single person complete a beautiful and very nice painting. Events like these are more than just a break from the routine; they foster collaboration, boost morale, and allow team members to see each other in a new light. It was, without a doubt, a great team-building event!
